PINEAPPLE VALLEY GOLF CLUB (FORMER BANYAN)
Built on a former pineapple plantation, Pineapple Valley Golf Club opened in 2008 and quickly gained recognition, being named 2009’s Best New Course in Asia-Pacific. Designed by renowned architect Pirapon Namatra, this 18-hole championship course offers a unique combination of natural beauty and challenging play, with breathtaking views of both mountains and the ocean.
The course is designed to suit players of all abilities, with six tee boxes on each hole. Its layout combines strategically placed water hazards, bunkers, and native pineapple groves to create a visually stunning and challenging experience. The Zoysia grass fairways are lush and well-manicured, while the Tiff-eagle Bermuda greens are fast and true, providing ideal conditions for play throughout the year.
The course’s signature holes are a standout feature. The par-3 15th offers panoramic ocean views, making it a favorite for photo opportunities, while the par-5 12th stretches an impressive 610 yards uphill, testing the skills of even the most seasoned golfers.
Pineapple Valley also boasts excellent practice facilities. Golfers can sharpen their skills at the short game area, which includes two large putting greens, chipping and pitching zones, and a dedicated bunker practice area.
The modern Thai-style clubhouse complements the on-course experience, featuring a pro shop stocked with top brands, luxury locker rooms, and two restaurants. One offers casual Thai dishes, while the other provides a 5-star dining experience with stunning course views.
With the option to walk or ride in GPS-enabled carts, along with the support of professional caddies, every round at Pineapple Valley is smooth and enjoyable. This unique blend of challenging design, natural beauty, and premium amenities makes Pineapple Valley Golf Club a must-play destination in Hua Hin.
